They were really well fitted out and a great location
The location it was very handy for touring the Cape Town and surrounding areas
Being in a home not a room, and friendliness of local staff both cleaning and security
believe its target priced for foreign visitors
The area was fantastic, felt very safe with the security guards on every corner. The apartment was very good on first inspection, however, the stairs were very dangerous and some urgent maintainence was needed to fix the lights, pool pump and TV
The staff were not very helpful when my partner had an accident in the apartment, they were also very slow to do any maintainence on the property.
Very nice location, stylish interior, good view of the Table Mountain
Cockroaches in kitchen and living room. Construction site just next door, was not indicated when making the booking. Fire alarm went off 3 times one night, nobody from Waterkant could be reached even on emergency number.
Comfort and design of the apartment
Poor drainage in master bathroom
Perfect location, walking distance from Waterfront and Green Point stadium. Excellent staff, great service and excellent apartment.
Interior design, closeness to waterfront at economic price, staff organization
Individual cottages in an attractive location within walking distance (20 mins) of Waterfront or Town Centre. Secure parking was an advantage. Felt safe as guards were around the whole area day and night. Good local restaurants. Helpful staff (once an issue of purported breakages was resolved)! Recommended.
Pool area a bit small and overlooked. Sun loungers on our terrace were padlocked to the wall. The WiFi didn't work. The security requirements being Cape Town are a bit off-putting at first, but apart from the occasional harrassment, did not feel threatened at any time.
the house was wonderfull! so nice and we felt so welcome and as we would be home! An owesome place to be, very safe! We would definatly come back!
Very central and well equiped making it a real 'home from home'. House was clean and very comfortable and many small details attended to.
On arrival I found out the location is in the heart of the 'gay district' of Cape Town as there was some festival on. This did not bother me as I was on this occassion travelling alone but I would not have been too comfortable if I had been traveling with young children. May be there should be a mention of this fact on the property decription?
excellent value for money
problem with sticking key which did not always work
We stayed at 23 Loader Street which was fabulous. The jacuzzi on the roof-top overlooking Signal Hill and Table Mountain was awesome; the uniqueness of the accommodation was fantastic, the location was brilliant - despite getting a few funny looks when we told people we had walked to a lot of places! The independence that self-catering accommodation gives you was also a bonus.
Initially the difficulty of getting hold of people at reception, but that was only because we were up and gone before their office opened and back after they had closed. We had no major issues whilst there, so it didn't matter greatly - we knew we could phone them if something needed urgent attention.
our house was perfect, modern, clean with great views and best value for mney compared to any 5 star hotel.
nice to have a house and private bathroom each, to have your own outdoor space, and lots of room but hotel services (house was cleaned every day). With a supermarket and restaurant within minutes walk, self catering is the way to go. A hotel room for two would have cost us the same
